Our Food

We absolutely love food, and want to share that love with our guests too.  Every care is taken to source local produce of the highest quality from local producers and suppliers with Scottish brands first and foremost on our shopping list.  Our eggs are collected daily from our gorgeous little flock of free range Black Rock hens, right in our garden.

Here at Firhall we are passionate about our food which you will be able to see at breakfast time. We offer our guests a breakfast that offers both traditional options with exceptional ingredients and contemporary choices with exciting flavours.   Our goal is for you to get the most from breakfast with us, this is why we offer a varied selection of tasty breakfast choices.

If you’re in the mood you can choose the full Scottish breakfast with locally sourced haggis, sausages and bacon from Grants of Speyside. Topped off with the freshest eggs possible from our very own Firhall hens right here in our garden. For something a little different, why not pick one of our daily specials which could include pancakes smothered with maple syrup and fresh blueberries. If you prefer to select your own elements and build your own breakfast delight, an a la carte option is also available for you.  There is always the buffet for something extra with a choice of cereals, yoghurt, cereal bars, pastries, fresh fruit, juices, teas and coffees too. Our jams are homemade to a family recipe that is a closely guarded secret.  We can happily cater for any dietary requirements, just let us know when you book.

Whether you choose a big hearty Scottish breakfast, a lighter option or one of our daily specials, you will be set up for your Highland adventure.

We offer a choice of freshly made packed lunches for you to enjoy whilst you explore the Scottish Highlands.  Our handy little lunches are freshly prepared using local produce and come in mini cool bags.  For that extra something special why not order our fully loaded picnic hamper, with blanket, a bottle of wine of your choice and soft drinks, fresh fruit and sandwiches or bagels.  All our packed lunches must be pre-ordered a minimum of 24 hours before so please contact us for a quote.

Our packed lunches could include freshly prepared sandwiches or bagels, fresh fruit, crisps, a slice of home baked yumminess, a flask of tea or coffee and a bottle of still or sparkling water.
